Rob Trent
Chief Executive Officer
Builders Capital is proud to have one of the region’s most successful builders as our Chief Executive Officer. Rob is a highly successful entrepreneur who founded SDC Homes in 2008 at the onset of the credit crisis where he delivered over 300 plus housing units annually, with over $100 million in annual sales. He has built and sold close to 2,000 homes in his career throughout the Pacific Northwest and developed a business model that took SDC Homes to become one of the top three homebuilders in Washington State by 2011. Rob sold SDC Homes and served as the Division President for Homes (NYSE-MDC) from 2011 to 2013. joined the ownership group of Builders Capital in January of 2014, and assumed the role of CEO in early 2020.
Curt Altig
Founder, Chairman & Chief of Staff
As the Founder of Builders Capital, Curt Altig brings a deep passion for the home building industry to everything he touches. His two decades as an executive with respected major mortgage lenders prepared him well for the launch of Builders Capital in 2009. He has assembled and inspired an exceptional leadership team devoted to helping our home builder clients succeed at every level. His current leadership goals are to deliberately and successfully launch in new markets. He continually creates new products and services to reduce risks and increase client profitability in all homebuilding sectors. Curt is a current board member of Liberty Road Foundation and a graduate of the University of Washington.
Robert Hadley
Principal
As a founder and investor in Builders Capital, Robert helps set the vision for the continued growth and success of the company. He serves on the company’s Management and Loan Review Committees. Robert is also the President of Hadley Properties, LLC, a third-generation development company with a long history of technical and real estate innovation, spanning residential, resort, office, hospitality, and industrial product types. Robert holds degrees in civil engineering and quantitative economics from Stanford University.
Beth Glein
Chief Operating Officer
Beth Glein joined Builders Capital in 2019 as Director of Operations. She accepted the role of Chief of Operations in early 2021 where she manages loan production from Processing to Closing, oversees the loan delivery process, and leads ‘Best-in-Class’ Servicing. Beth provides direct support to multiple teams and serves on the Loan Review Committee. Beth has over 15 years of experience in Financial Services, her areas of expertise include People Management, Sales and Operations Management, Corporate Training, and Project Management. She is a strategic thinker and thrives on changing business practices to meet the needs of the client. She excels in bringing together teams from across the organization to find borrower centric solutions. Beth believes that employees need to be empowered to make the right decisions for the organization and managers must monitor and coach for the desired results.
Travis Dodge
Chief Technology Officer
Travis Dodge joins Builders Capital as Chief Technology Officer from the acquisition of BIMQuote Corporation, where he was Founder & CEO. He grew up in residential construction and received a BS in Civil Engineering, as well as a dual MS in engineering management and mechanical engineering. After graduation, Travis led the R&D effort across a global leader in building products. Over the last decade, he has led new product initiatives across a range of industries and corporations. It was this experience in the field, professional design and global manufacturing that led to the insights driving the strategic formation and innerworkings of customhome.ai and bimquote.com. As our CTO, he is responsible for setting and leading the company’s technology & product development.
Ken Trent
Chief of Growth
Ken began serving as Chief of Growth at Builders Capital in early 2022. He has a Masters of Arts in Mass Communications and a Masters of Business Administration. He brings over 10 years’ experience in eCommerce and Technology with organizations including Amazon, Banda-Namco, and Spreetail. He has led teams of Vendor Managers, Product & Project Managers, Software Developers, Marketers, Tradeshow Personnel, Negotiation Coaches, and Sales Professionals. He utilizes his keen eye to focus on identifying growth levers and enhancing opportunities to scale at Builders Capital.
Katherine Christofilis
Vice President of Compliance
Katherine joined Builders Capital in 2019 as Corporate Counsel, where she served as an invaluable part of the team before becoming Vice President of Compliance. After earning her law degree from Gonzaga University, she began her legal career working in-house for two startup companies focusing on FDA/FTC compliance and marketing compliance. Before joining Builders Capital, she was a partner at Williams Kastner & Gibbs, PLLC where she focused on creditor/debtor rights and real estate transactions. Katherine grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where she currently lives with her family.
Mark Woodbridge
National Director of Wholesale
Mark Woodbridge is a 26-year veteran in real estate and mortgage banking. As the former Director of Sales for Builders Capital, Mark led our loan officers across multiple western states in the highly successful growth of Builders Capital. Mark has been a fund manager for several private equity funds, managed a mortgage branch for a west coast mortgage bank, and was the owner of his own mortgage brokerage.
Mark also has personal experience renovating dozens of properties, developing raw land to lots, and building new residential construction. His hands-on experience in real estate and the private lending industry provides clients with a high level of industry knowledge and creative financing strategies. Mark now leads the Builders Capital Wholesale Lending Division overseeing its national expansion. In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys doing anything outdoors!
